We hope this blog gives you information about who we are and what we are like as a family to help you know if we could be a good adoption match for you. We have an open adoption with our daughter, Nicole, and welcome an open adoption with you if that is what you are comfortable with. Kaila

Kaila, our oldest, is 15 years old. She is always happy and laughing, especially when she is hanging out with friends, which is her favorite thing to do since she is a teenager! We are happy that she is so responsible; she cleans and office building to earn her own money, does her chores and works on her homework and projects before they are due.

Kaila is also very athletic and enjoys being active. She likes jumping on the tramp, skiing, boating, riding 4-wheelers, camping and other outdoor activities. She is a member of the BYU Junior Ballroom Team and also competes in Dancesport competitions. Dancing keeps her busy 6 days a week which is why she is among the top dancers in her age group.

Kaila is a wonderful girl who is very mature for her age. She always prays for a new little brother or sister, and we believe her faith was a huge part in helping us adopt Nicole. She takes her role as big sister very seriously. Kaila enjoys playing with her little sister, Nicole. She pulls Nicole behind her bike in a caboose, jumps on the trampoline and anything else she can find that’s fun to do with her. Nicole loves Kaila and always wants to be with her and like her.

Kaila still enjoys hanging out with her parents (when friends aren’t available). She and Marla like to go shopping together (Kaila gives Marla wardrobe advise), and Kaila loves to watch movies with Jared; and we all love to play games together.

Kaila has always been a delightful girl. We are proud of what a wonderful example she is to her friends and little sister. She is fun to have around and she blesses our family. We love her so much!
